Why work hard, why read, why learn anything. The answer is freedom, and a world that's less scary.
I am always trying to come up with an answer for
- Why work so hard ?
- Why read all the time ?
- Why study or learn things ?
The answer is freedom actually. Learning about ourselves frees us from ourselves, learning about the world more frees us from the world more. When we understand things, we can do more and that makes the world less scary
