Ginger Scallion Sauce
Ingredients
- 100g
- ginger, peeled and very finely minced or grated
- 6
- spring onions, finely sliced (whites and greens)
- 1 tsp
- salt
- 120ml
- neutral oil (I use canola oil)
- 1 tsp
- sesame oil (optional, stirred in at the end)
Method

Mix the ginger, spring onions and salt together

Then mix the oil in and put on a small saucepan on low.

Keep stirring because it will stick if you don't.

Once the scallions and ginger is fragrant, cut the heat and keep stirring.

Then, season with salt, sugar and chicken stock powder (if you have any)

Lastly, stir in the sesame oil if using.
Notes
- Keeps a few weeks in the fridge.
- Made for Soupy Ginger and Scallion Chicken, but it's just as good on eggs or rice
