I have seen this movie twice.
The first time I didn’t get it.
The second time found me right as I was deciding to quit my job to start CodedConstructs. I had wanted to do it later, but the timing was the best it was going to be, so I took the plunge. I resigned in June and was full time on it by July.
The visuals and cinematography are amazing. But its lesson is to stop daydreaming and go do the thing you want to do, even if it’s scary. You’ll figure it out.
That’s trusting yourself, not throwing caution to the wind. It’s taking an obscenely big problem and breaking it down into the next hard step to take.
In the movie, Walter goes on literal adventures as his steps. My journey isn’t as perilous, but the lesson is the same. Go do the hard thing.
