Corporate work is a bad deal
We're told to diversify our investments, then put all our time into one employer and hope they keep us.
We are always encouraged to diversify our investments but it’d not the same when it comes earning a salary. We put all our time and effort into one company in hopes that we won’t be at the bud end of a budget cut later.
We slave and give our time away all for a hope that they won’t boot us out but they still might anyways.
It’s a bad deal because it’s so one sided.
