Corporate work is a bad deal We're told to diversify our investments, then put all our time into one employer and hope they keep us. It's not about value, it's about time in companies You can bring more impact than the person beside you. Without more hours, you won't be paid more. The path to leaving corporate is lonely You lose interest in the company events and drift from your team. Nobody around you shares the reason. Avoid the delivery trap The better you get at delivering, the more that becomes the only thing they judge you on. Hours is what companies use to measure you Companies can't measure your impact, so they measure your hours. Most of them are a cult of hours. Vagueness prevents you from moving forward in companies It's in the company's interest to keep your performance vague. Vague means they can spin it either way. Why working after hours at a 9-5 doesn't make sense Overachiever is carnival cash. It's worth nothing the moment you leave.
Nothing at that stage on this topic yet.
