Hours is what companies use to measure you
Companies can't measure your impact, so they measure your hours. Most of them are a cult of hours.
Because Vagueness prevents you from moving forward in companies, companies use hours to reflect your “performance” regardless of impact.
It’s a test of loyalty and “how much of your life are you willing to give” rather than how much impact you actually bring to the table. Since they can’t objectively measure your impact and value, they use hours as a poor indicator of your performance.
Thus, most companies are a cult of hours.
